2010 Season:Danowski, named to the MLL All-Star team for a third year in a row, led the Lizards in goals scored (25), assists (18), and points (47) and was second in the MLL in those categories. 2009 Season: Named to “Young Guns” All-Star team. Was the go-to guy on offense for the Lizards, as he tallied a Lizards-high 31 points. First for Long Island in Assists (31), 3rd in Goals (16), and 2nd in Groundballs (31).
At Duke: Matt was named Consensus National Player of the Year pick as the recipient of the Tewaaraton Trophy and the USILA's Lt. Raymond J. Enners Award ... Lt. Col. J. I. (Jack) Turnbull Award honoree as the nation's top attackman (2007 and 2008)...
