2010 Season:Danowski, named to the MLL All-Star team for a third year in a row, led the Lizards in goals scored (25), assists (18), and points (47) and was second in the MLL in those categories.

2009 Season:  Named to “Young Guns” All-Star team.  Was the go-to guy on offense for the Lizards, as he tallied a Lizards-high 31 points.  First for Long Island in Assists (31), 3rd in Goals (16), and 2nd in Groundballs (31).


2008 Season: 2nd overall pick in the 2008 Collegiate Draft.  Played in 10 game for the New Jersey Pride.  Scored 19 goals, including 3 2 pointers and registered 14 assists for 36 points.  Was the 2nd leading scorer on the team and was selected to the MLL All Star team.

 
At Duke: Matt was named Consensus National Player of the Year pick as the recipient of the Tewaaraton Trophy and the USILA's Lt. Raymond J. Enners Award ... Lt. Col. J. I. (Jack) Turnbull Award honoree as the nation's top attackman (2007 and 2008)... USILA First Team All-America all four years ... led the nation in both total points (96) and assists (52) ... set Duke and ACC single-season record for scoring, with 96 total points ranking tied for 12th on the NCAA's all-time list ... paired with Greer to become the second set of teammates in NCAA history to each top the 90-point plateau in a single campaign, joining Cornell's Mike French (97) and Eamon McEneaney (96) in 1975 ... the 190 combined points set a new ACC single-season record, surpassing the previous mark held by Michael Watson and Doug Knight of Virginia (161 in 1996), and ranks second in NCAA history behind the record of 193 points set by French and McEneaney in 1975 ... became just the fourth player in NCAA history to record 40+ goals and 50+ assists in a single season ... totaled 24 points in four NCAA Tournament games to post the third-highest single-tournament total in NCAA history behind McEneaney (25 in 1977) and Tim Goldstein (25 in 1987), both of Cornell ... paired with Greer to register 44 combined points in the NCAA Tournament to set a new tournament record, breaking the previous mark of 43 set by Gary Gait (23) and Tom Marechek (20) of Syracuse in 1990 ... with Greer and Ned Crotty (12), combined for the second-highest single-tournament scoring trio with 56 points, trailing only the group of Gait, Marechek and Greg Burns (16) of Syracuse in 1990 ...

PERSONAL: Son of John and Tricia Danowski.  Father is the head lacrosse coach at Duke and his sister, Katie, played lacrosse at Quinnipiac.
