2009 Season: Drafted 3rd Overall in MLL Collegiate Draft. Named to “Young Guns” All-Star team. In just 5 games, Greer scored an impressive 12 goals for the Lizards, three of which were on the powerplay. He also put up 2 assists and picked up 3 groundballs in his impressive rookie campaign. Bio: Selected by the Lizards with their first-round pick (third overall) in the 2009 MLL Collegiate Draft. In his first MLL game, recorded 4 goals and 1 assist and was named Bud Light MVP of the game. Greer led Bryant University to a 10-5 record this year and was named a second team All-American and Tewaaraton Trophy Finalist. Greer transferred to Bryant from Duke University, where he was a three-time All-American (twice 1st team). Greer holds numerous NCAA and ACC scoring records, including a share of the record for the most points scored in NCAA Division I history (353) (which he shares with fellow Duke linemate and current Long Island Lizard Matt Danowski). |
